For young adults who are experiencing: difficulty managing emotions, difficulty maintaining employment/school obligations or impulsive behaviors which impact daily responsibilities and relationships. Open to any young adult, anywhere.

Skills Classes For Individuals

Youth, Young Adults, and Caregivers

  • 12-week skills classes to learn DBT skills to help better manage emotions, deal with distress, and communicate effectively. These classes are for teens, young adults, and caregivers.
  • 12-week skills classes to learn RO (Radically Open) DBT skills to help decrease perfectionism, improve flexibility, communicate and connect better with others, and overall develop the skills needed to be open to new experiences.

DBT Skills Class for Young Adults (18-29)

Time: Thursdays 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Length: 12 weeks

Who: Young Adults only

Fee: $50/week


RO DBT Skills Class for Young Adults (18-29)

Time: Thursdays 9:00-10:00 am

Length: 12 weeks

Who: Young Adults only

Fee: $50/week


DBT Skills Class for Caregiver(s) of Young Adult

Time: Thursdays 7:00-8:00 pm

Length: 12 weeks

Who: Caregivers only (up to 2)

DBT Skills Coaching for Young Adults and Caregivers

DBT skills coaching is available to youth 13-29 and their caregivers. The focus of skills coaching is to supplement therapy for youth with dangerous behaviors and/or clinical depression or anxiety. Skills coaching is also available as a prevention service for youth without dangerous behaviors.

Length: 6 sessions

Fees:

• $100 Initial 60-min coaching assessment

• $60/30-min session OR

• $80/45-min session
